Pool Remodeling in Mesa, AZ

Mesa lists 48 pool companies, and 16 of them do remodel, resurfacing or replaster work. Four of the 16 do that without building new pools at all. The remaining 12 build and remodel both.

One in four being a specialist gives you a real choice to make rather than a theoretical one. A builder's remodel work is often handled by the same crew that shoots new shells, which can mean solid structural work and a longer wait for a start date. A remodel-only outfit has no build schedule in front of yours. Decide which trade-off you prefer before you start calling, because the two kinds of company will give you very different answers about timing.

Financing is common on this list. 10 of the 16 Mesa remodelers offer it, the same count as water and fire features and as outdoor living and landscape work. 12 list decking and pavers and 8 list spas and hot tubs. If paying over time is part of your plan, you can keep your shortlist wide instead of narrowing it to the few companies that handle it.

Pool remodeling companies in Mesa

13 of the 16 carry an ROC license in the posting list dated 2026-10-02, and 12 state a license in their own listing. B-5 leads with 5 holders, then KA-5 with 3 and B-4 with 2, plus one each of KA, R-62 and CR-21. Eight hold a construction class and none holds one of the service and repair classes, which are CR-6, R-6 and C-6. Arizona requires an ROC license to build a pool, and the construction classes are B-5, B-6, A-9, A-19, KA-5 and KA-6. A resurface needs none of them, so do not treat a build class as a requirement for the job you are actually hiring for.

Sunkiss Pools tops the Mesa remodel list on reviews with 173, under ROC 225718, class B-5. Dolphin Pools Gilbert is close behind at 164 reviews, ROC 094365, also B-5. Pool & Landscape AZ has 100 reviews under ROC 259191, class B-4, and No Limit Pools & Spas has 66 under ROC 272217. Santana Pools, 51 reviews under ROC 353970, is one of the four that remodels and does not build.

Pebble interior finishes appear on only 4 of the 16 listings, and heating and solar on 4. Ask which finish a quote assumes rather than letting it stay generic, since a quarter of this list names pebble as something they do and the rest do not. License numbers and their current status are free to look up at azroc.my.site.com/AZRoc/s/contractor-search.
